Hi, I’m Phoebe! I am a speech pathologist with experience working in private practice speech pathology, and I am excited to be working at DWSP!
I never thought I would become a speech pathologist, even though my mum is one herself! I originally completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in genetics as I loved learning how the body worked. Then when I started to think about how I could combine my love of science with my passion for working with people, speech pathology became the obvious answer!
I always knew I would want to work in paediatric speech pathology as I have always adored working with children and the joy they can bring to my day. I find nothing more satisfying that coming home at the end of the day and sharing a win for the day or a joke a client told me!
When I am able to, I love travelling and eating out at restaurants: I am particularly very passionate about eating at the best bakeries in Melbourne. I also love relaxing in front of the TV, cooking and baking, and cuddling my rescue cat.
I am so excited to be working at DWSP and to meet new families and staff members and continue developing and learning as a speech pathologist!
