Katrina holds a Master of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology, from the University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining DWSP, she worked at an international school in Hong Kong, supporting individuals with special educational needs.

Katrina works with individuals across the lifespan, including children, teenagers, and adults, supporting speech sound disorders, language and literacy difficulties, and social communication needs. She particularly enjoys connecting with her neurodivergent clients through meaningful conversations and is committed to sharing neurodiversity-affirming approaches with families, educators, and others who may be less familiar with these approaches.

Katrina is also passionate about supporting multilingual families and has experience providing bilingual therapy in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. As a multilingual speaker herself, she understands the unique challenges that can arise when more than one language is spoken at home. She works closely with families to navigate these challenges and set goals that support their child’s speech and language development across languages.

Katrina is professionally trained in UFLI Foundations, a literacy program developed by the University of Florida for younger children, as well as That Reading Thing, a literacy program designed for teenagers and adults.

Katrina is based at our Northcote and Coburg clinics, as well as at schools.
