Caroline Chuah

Speech Pathologist

Caroline holds a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from The University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Linguistics, with minors in Communicative Sciences and Disorders, Cognitive Science, and Korean, from Michigan State University.

Prior to joining Dee Wardrop, Caroline worked at a private practice, supporting clients aged 2-18 across the range of speech pathology practice areas. She has also had clinical experience across acute hospital and community settings. Caroline is particularly interested in the areas of literacy, social communication, and language, and has completed additional professional development in early language intervention and social communication. Having lived across many different countries, Caroline is passionate about supporting clients from culturally and linguistically diverse populations to equitably access healthcare services and support.

Caroline always prioritises clients’ interests in sessions, and uses a strengths-based, neuroaffirming approach. She recognises the importance of client-led sessions, and enjoys getting to know her clients’ interests, strengths, and goals, to identify therapy targets that will provide the best support. Caroline also believes in collaborating with a child’s entire support system, such as carers, family, and educators, to establish functional goals for therapy.

Caroline works at our Northcote, Coburg, Footscray clinics and in schools.
