Hi! I’m Katrina, a Speech Pathologist with a background in psychology and a passion for helping people communicate with confidence. I started out working with children with special educational needs back in Hong Kong, both during and after the pandemic. I provided support in schools and online, and also worked as a behaviour therapist in an international school.
I moved to Sydney to complete my Master of Speech Language Pathology at the University of Sydney, where I worked with both children and adults across hospital and community settings. While I’ve always loved working with kids, I’m also really passionate about supporting adults with speech, voice, and swallowing difficulties. I’m excited to continue growing my skills in this space.
I speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, and I really enjoy working with multilingual families and tailoring therapy to suit each individual’s language and background. I believe therapy should be practical, collaborative, and centred around what matters most to each person and their support network.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me playing the piano, dancing, hitting the gym—or planning my next trip! I love travelling and exploring new places, cultures, and food. I’m super excited to be part of the DWSP team and looking forward to learning and growing in this next chapter!
