Hi, I’m Nikayla and I am excited to join the DWSP team as an Occupational Therapist!
I entered into the healthcare field as I have always had an interest in connecting with and helping others and I am so pleased that my career has lead me into paediatrics. I hope to be able to continue expanding my clinical skills and experiences and would eventually like to work in child and youth mental health.
I grew up in Botswana (near South Africa) and moved to Australia when I was 9. As such, I enjoy taking advantage of Melbourne’s post lockdown freedoms by exploring op shops, markets and live music venues. I love spending time with my friends, family and chihuahua Coco.
