Joanne is part of the DWSP team, working as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA).

She brings extensive hands-on experience from supporting her own children’s learning and development, giving her deep insight into the needs of neurodivergent children and the therapy process. Over the past decade, Joanne has been closely involved in practising therapy strategies at home, strengthening her understanding of how to support children in ways that are practical, compassionate and responsive.

Joanne is passionate about helping children participate confidently in their everyday environments and promoting their inclusion within groups and the wider community. She brings warmth, a calming presence, and a gentle approach to every interaction, alongside strong organisational and communication skills that help children thrive.

Outside of work, Joanne enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and discovering new places to explore.
