Welcome to our new OT – Cait!

Hello, my name is Cait and I am excited to be joining the DWSP team and have heard wonderful things about the experienced and dedicated team. Thank you to everyone who has already made me feel welcome and supported! Looking forward to meeting the rest of the team, sharing ideas and learning from the diverse knowledge base.

A bit about me: I grew up in the Blue Mountains in NSW. I love gardening, animals, op-shopping, sewing, cooking, and most arts and crafts (I am a very tactile person). I also love travelling and meeting people from all over the world. My first job working with children was in Poland for a year as an Au pair with home-schooled children.

I studied my undergrad in Psychology before moving to Melbourne to study my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Since graduating I have worked in private and public mental health with a focus on women’s health. I am a strong advocate for disability and mental health access, support, and rights. That is why I love working in OT to help people feel heard, validated, and empowered to reach their goals.
