Kay earned her Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University and has a Bachelor degree in Linguistics and Language Technology. Her areas of interest include supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability.
Kay has experience working with people from early school age through to adulthood with disabilities. She has a family-centred approach to work, always tailoring her therapy to the needs and interests of her clients and their families. She enjoys supporting people to take up just-right challenges and seeing the impact her therapy has on their communication and confidence, and the greater influence this has on the families’ dynamics in turn.
Kay speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is passionate about working with families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Kay is a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia. She is also a member of the Hanen Centre and is certified to deliver the Hanen More Than Words® program
