Jaclyn joined the DWSP team in early 2019 after returning from working and travelling in London and Europe. Prior to her international roles Jaclyn worked with the Department of Education across Melbourne schools for over 5 years.
Jaclyn completed her postgraduate study with a Masters of Speech Pathology at The University of Melbourne and is a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia. She is is passionate about working collaboratively with students, families, teachers and staff to help improve outcomes for students.
Jaclyn is particularly passionate about supporting children with their speech sound and literacy development, reading skills and early literacy. She has completed her Foundation Level THRASS training and enjoys using a range of programs to assist the students she works with.
Jaclyn is really excited to join the clinical team at DWSP and work more closely with parents/carers. She believes in the importance of empowering families to supporting their child’s development, particularly during early intervention and literacy development.
Jaclyn works in schools and the Thornbury Clinic and offers evening and weekend appointments.
